- I'm a 30-something married mom of two. One boy (5) and One girl (1). Lucky me! I work part-time at home helping my husband with our Colorado ski vacation business (the-lift.com). I love to travel, especially to the South Pacific islands. My dream job is to be a group tour guide in some exotic locale. Wouldn't that be great to meet new & interesting people all the time while being somewhere different than the day before almost every day? In a previous lifetime before children I worked as a technical writer and software sales rep. I'm sure I used to have hobbies, but it's been so long since I had any time to myself I don't remember what they were. I do vaguely remember enjoying being an actress in a community theatre, taking really long walks with my husband, riding a bicycle, swimming, snow skiing, shopping, cross-stitch and reading. Now I spend most days doing fun stuff with the kids, working a bit and fantasizing about how my home would look if the carpet and walls weren't 1980's blue. And I must mention our wonderful dog Tango who loves us no matter how much the kids abuse him or how little time I spend with him.
